Lasting Loss is my effort at becoming an advocate for weight loss and fitness. 70% of people could live longer if they were willing to make a lifestyle change. I've experienced the difficulty of making lasting changes; I want to encourage, motivate and offer tools and information to help make change possible. My own journey from being extremely overweight to maintaining a healthy weight has been a learning experience. I'm striving to share some of the things I've learned. Along the way I've transformed from a sedentary lifestyle to running, bicycling, hiking and backpacking. As I develop tools and helpful relationships with others focused on weight loss and fitness I'll be sharing them here.
Eighteen years ago my wife and I decided to do something about our weight. We joined Weight Watchers, bought bicycles and changed our lifestyle. Enjoy our before and after pictures.
